Immersive learning in nature is incredibly impactful for children. These self-discoveries develop into lessons applied to classroom learning and can be used throughout their lives. Research continues to reiterate the importance of hands-on learning in nature for children, especially during their developmental years. Outdoor learning lays the foundation for STEM education, encourages creativity, enhances problem-solving skills, provides appropriate risk-taking, and gives an outlet for stress.
